Book Review: Wings by Aprilynne Pike

First off, I don't like reading YA book or any books in general that include faeries. I don't know, it just doesn't interest me. After reading Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr I fell in love with them. And I found that Amazon users were giving Wings positive reviews. I knew then I needed to read this book. I did and I loved it.
The characters the authors puts into her characters is well done and written. I imagined everything in my head perfectly for a readers who sometimes has difficulty imagining third-point of view novels.
The cover was beautiful and the I did not read this because the cover had a review my Stephenie Meyer, I like Twilight, but not the reason why I read it. I wanted to give faery books a go and find maybe a new interest in YA novels.

The three characters Laurel, David, and Tamani were well written, but I think I enjoyed reading Tamani the most! Team Tamani! Anyways, the storyline was good since the beginning, the writing was good, and it could tell that the author loved writing the book and the characters. I can't wait to read the second book, Spells. Unfortunately, my local library doesn't have Spells in, but I'll try and read it some how.
I know this is probably not the best review but here's my overall rating.

Cover: *****
Writing: ****

The movie rights have been optioned! I can't wait to read the books that come our way and the adventures in Avalon. Find more neat stuff here

TEAM TAMANI
There's a reason I picked green, read the book
